Changing the Processing Order for Import Folders

CCH Scan jobs are processed first by the priority assigned to the import folder, and then by the order the import folders are listed on the Folder Settings tab in CCH Scan Administrator. You can move import folders up or down in the list to change the order in which files are processed. If the folder order must be modified after initial setup, we recommend waiting until a time when no jobs are being processed.

Note: Once you have configured your settings, you can export them to an XML file. You can then import those settings into another instance of CCH Scan as needed, thus reducing the amount of setup required. See Exporting or Importing CCH Scan Settings for more information.

To move an import folder up or down in the list, do the following:

  1. In CCH Scan Administrator, click the Folder Settings tab.
  2. Select the import folder to move in the list.
  3. Click Up or Down to move the folder to the appropriate position in the list.
  4. Click Save.
