Configuring General Settings for CCH Scan

The General Settings tab in CCH Scan Administrator allows you to configure global options that apply to all import folders. For example, you can specify how often CCH Scan checks for new files in the import folder.

You can reset your settings to the system defaults at any time by selecting Reset to Default from the General Settings drop-down menu at the top of the tab.

Note: Once you have configured your settings, you can export them to an XML file. You can then import those settings into another instance of CCH Scan as needed, thus reducing the amount of setup required. See Exporting or Importing CCH Scan Settings for more information.

To configure general settings for CCH Scan, do the following:

  1. In CCH Scan Administrator, click the General Settings tab.
  2. Change the Closedsettings as needed to meet your firm's needs.
  3. Click Save.
