When you export a PDF for CCH Scan processing, one of the following happens, depending on the option that was selected when the CCH ProSystem fx Funnel job was created:
The file is exported to a CCH Scan import folder. CCH Scan picks up and processes the file per the options set for that folder in CCH Scan Administrator.
The CCH Scan Import Assistant opens so you can manually start the processing.
Open the PDF in CCH ProSystem fx Funnel.
Click Open on the PDF Viewer ribbon.
Navigate to and select the PDF.
Click Open.
Click Export to CCH Scan on the PDF Viewer ribbon.
If the option to export the file to an import folder was selected, there is nothing more for you to do. If the option to open the Import Assistant was selected, verify that the correct Folder Settings option is selected. If not, select the correct Folder Setting. Folder Settings selections are managed in CCH Scan Administrator. If you are unsure which Folder Setting to use, consult your CCH Scan administrator.
By default, the PDF you are processing will be moved to the specified Scan folders. If you want to instead copy the file to the Scan folder and leave a copy in the current folder, right-copy the Operation column for the file and select Copy file to import folder.
