By default, all settings are enabled for all users when CCH ProSystem fx Funnel is installed. If needed, the administrator can create different settings files with different privileges enabled. When CCH ProSystem fx Funnel is installed for individual staff members, the administrator can install the appropriate settings file.
To edit a settings file for CCH ProSystem fx Funnel, proceed as follows:

Warning: Deleted pages cannot be restored. If a page is accidentally deleted and you still have the original source file, you can reprocess the file and add it to the PDF. |
Ask for confirmation on Delete Page(s) | Select this option if CCH ProSystem fx Funnel should prompt you for a confirmation before deleting
a page.
Tip: Because deleted pages cannot be restored, we recommend keeping this option selected. |
Allow to Reorder Page(s) | Select this option to allow staff members to change the page order in CCH ProSystem fx Funnel PDFs. |
Continue Conversion on Error(s) |
Select this option if CCH ProSystem fx Funnel should complete the conversion of files that do not have errors. Files with errors will not be converted but will be noted in the job log. If you do not select this option, the conversion process will stop when an error occurs during the job. The job can be rerun once the error is resolved. |
Attach Job Information to Output PDF | When selected, metadata and status information about each job is saved as a file named JobInformation.xml and attached to the output PDF created. The information in this file can be used to troubleshoot issues that occur with a job.
Note: To see the JobInformation.xml file, open the PDF in Adobe® Acrobat® or Adobe Acrobat Reader®, and then open the Attachments pane. See the Adobe Acrobat Help for more information about using the Adobe products. |
Delete Input File(s) after Importing | Select this option if you want the original source files that you imported into a CCH ProSystem fx Funnel job to be removed from your computer after a successful import. Files that are not added to your PDF because of an error during processing are not removed.
Note: You can also delete input files after an import completes by clicking Delete Input Files on the PDF Viewer ribbon. |
- Export to Import Folder. When you export to CCH Scan, the output PDF is placed in the CCH Scan import folder that you specify in the Import Folder field. This option can be used even if CCH Scan is not installed on your workstation.
- Launch CCH ProSystem fx Scan Import Assistant. Exporting to CCH Scan launches the Import Assistant so you can begin the CCH Scan processing. CCH Scan must be installed on the workstation to use this option.
- Import Folder. This is the location where CCH ProSystem fx Funnel should place the output PDF when the Export to Import Folder option is selected.
Note: To replace the settings file for individual users, go to C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\CCHProSystemfxScan\Funnel and replace the default settings file with the one you created. The name of the settings file must be FunnelSettings.xml.
