Importing Files for Processing with the Import Assistant
The Import Assistant is a tool that streamlines the process of sending documents for CCH Scan processing. With the Import Assistant, you can quickly move or copy scanned documents into an Import folder without having to navigate through the directory structure of the CCH Scan Administrator server.
To use the Import Assistant, do the following:
Do one of the following, depending on which program you have open:
CCH Scan Administrator. Do one of the following: :
Click the Queue tab, and then drag the files to be processed to the queue.
Right-click the grid and select Import Files.
Select File > Import Files.
CCH Scan Workstation. Drag the files to be processed to CCH Scan Workstation. The Import Assistant opens, and the files are displayed in the window.
Neither CCH Scan Administrator nor CCH Scan Workstation is open. Select Import Assistant from the Start menu, and then drag the files you want to process onto the Import Assistant window.
In the Folder Setting field, select the Import folder that you want to add the files to.
Do one of the following:
Click Import to add the files to the Import folder without closing the Import Assistant window.
Click Import & Close to add the files to the Import folder and exit the window.
Click Close to close the window without importing any files.
